Recycling
This one's a no-brainer.
And thanks to the hard work of Facilities and our recycling interns, Gettysburg College now practices "single-stream" recycling which eliminates the need to sort recyclables. Also, the Borough of Gettysburg now recycles all plastics #1-7, cardboard, metal, aluminum, glass, newspaper, magazines, plastic bags, and much much more in compliance with Pennsylvania State Law. Furthermore, the proceeds generated from the Borough's recycling program go to benefit the Gettysburg Homeless Shelter and the Adams County Rescue Mission.
